This Saturday 22nd May, the 9th Vendée Globe will crown its champion and heroes. A meeting behind closed doors, but which will be the subject of a live TV broadcast, from 3pm!
It was necessary to give up the crowds on the Vendée Globe esplanade, but there was no question of giving up the award ceremony and the tribute to the 33 skippers who have thrilled us all this autumn and winter!
Therefore, it is behind closed doors that, on Saturday 22nd May from 3:00pm, the Vendée Globe will pay tribute to the wonderful story written by its 33 sailors, who set off in the mist of a particular Sunday 8th November 2020 to attack the oceans.
The Vendée Department is deploying the resources of a TV show to enable you to follow the Award Ceremony.
