Miranda Merron this morning

13 - 28 knots. How are you supposed to sail properly in conditions like this? When it drops it pickes up again immediately, it is exhausting.
Manu's keel problem shook me a bit. We are never safe from damage, and the finish is still a long way off. It's quite scary.
On the positive side, there is less Sargassum, so the hydro works better. It looks very complicated after the trade winds. Since the routes diverge quite a bit, I will read the tea leaves in the bottom of my cup.

'A third round? I want to fly....' Romain Attanasio

Romain Attanasio's first words after crossing the finish line....

It doesn't happen. You can never stop. And then this climb up the Atlantic. I had a bit of everything. The calms at the Falklands, the storm afterwards, then 3 days stuck in the doldrums, and again that last storm at the Azores.
